Could you tell us about your past occupations and why you changed jobs?
I have been involved in system development and planning for Internet shopping services for about 15 years. Controlling large-scale system development was a job with great responsibility and rewarding work. I came to think that I would like to challenge in the field and scale.

Why did you join Blockchain Lock?
In addition to the IT field that I have been involved in so far, I thought that the experimental side of introducing blockchain technology into society and the side of IoT with visible output would be suitable as a new challenge for me.
Another big reason is that the company itself is new compared to my previous job, so we can make the rules and the foundation of the company by ourselves.

What is the charm of the company that you feel after joining the company?
Rather than abstract consulting and data analysis, we believe that we are able to objectively observe our results through very concrete business support through smart locks, which is easy to be evaluated for better or worse. I believe that the process of thinking about what is currently lacking and what needs to be supplemented by the entire workforce, and applying it to the means, leads to individual skills improvement and training.
In addition to developing and maintaining software, by working with vendors to improve hardware and being involved in installation, you can easily understand and review your own output.

What are your future work and private goals?
I would like to contribute not only to my work or the business of the company, but also to the industry as a whole in some way.
For example, in the field of software, Japan is still strongly focused on the means of realizing some kind of business, but I think that it will lead to efforts to reduce the inefficient software manufacturing process throughout Japan.
Rather than having multiple companies develop similar systems at high cost, we want to consolidate and standardize them as much as possible, and create a system that allows us to invest the spared resources for the future.
